Ring Group shared Voicemail in MiCollab
Why don't Ring Groups have the ability to share and view group mailbox in the MiCollab client like you can with personal mailboxes? We are migrating from Mitel Connect and this feature is/was heavily used. It creates a a large impact in our environment to not have a better voicemail option for Ring Groups.
-Ring Groups with many members don't have a way to manage a mailbox between several users.
-It also does not make sense that they would need to call into voicemail when there is an app that could show the voicemails for their Ring Groups.27 votes -
Prevent MiCollab users with Admin access from being able to connect to MiVoice Business via MiCollab credentials
We ended up with a scenario where we had to restrict the MiVB access for the customer's in house telephony engineers. This is fine, setup the security profile in MiVB and restrict the forms they have read/write access to.
However. These same engineers have admin access to the MiCollab's, which are connected to the MiVB's in order to be able to provision users, setup voicemails etc...
The problem lies in the ability for them to log into MiCollab and then go to Network Elements and click on 'Connect to MiVB System' - which then uses the un/pw which is stored…

Video Calling with Mitel 6940 phones
Develop the SIP or MiNET firmware for the Mitel 6940 to allow for video calling. The display of the 6940 is a decent resolution color display that would be a great platform for video calls. Many hotels and other business would love this feature for integration with 3rd party video phones located in vestibules.

The MiVoice Business Console needs to be able to be placed on hold.
We need the ability to place the MiVoice Business Console on hold. This is critical for our clients who triage calls to acd queues, or clients who take calls at the console and wish to perform a warm transfer a non-user device such as IVR, or in some cases to an agent via an IVR. Competing console operator solutions can do this today; a modern console operator's role has changed, and the Mitel MiVB hasn't. The MiVB Console must evolve to meet the use cases and functional requirements of our customers.

MiVoice Business Console Accessibility
Unfortunately, v10 of the Mitel software has not improved accessibility and in many ways has made it worse. In particular:
No support for Windows High DPI mode (use of older Java runtimes?)
Very small fonts that cannot be adjusted – although ZoomText does a good job of scaling these, it works much better if the font is slightly larger to start with
Lack of contrast – the new “flat” look has removed some of the higher contrast elements, such as highlighted entries in the Phone Book search are now pale blue

add holiday schedule for each business schedule
Right now, we can have multiple business schedules, but only 1 holiday schedule.

MVB presence synchronisation in Micollab
It would be great if the presence status of a MivoiceBusiness user wuld be synced with micollab. We do not see if the MVB - user is in Call. We only see the "grey" button.
As shown in de screenshot, our central telefony works with MVB. They get called very often. So it would be great if we users in micollab know if the mvb user is in call...14 votes -
CloudLink - MiVB - Send Busy/Out of Service Event on SIP De-Registration
At present, you only receive presence updates for a MiVB ‘Generic SIP Device’ when:
1) a call is made (busy)
2) a call is received (busy)
3) when a call is dropped (available)
4) when the device is signed into the SIP extension (available).There is no presence update when the device is signed out. This is confirmed 'design intent' by Mitel. That means in the last presence update is 'Available', the device will remain available via API, even after signing out.

allow continued voting even when idea has been flagged as no plan
seems like as soon as someone at mitel decides an idea isnt going to happen quickly the entry is then blocked from further votes.
This portal is still new and i suspect that there arent that many end users that have been advised that it exists.
fair enough that there is no current plan , but what if it had 1000 votes . would that change things ?
shutting it down prevents more people adding votes .
if this portal is not for the long term development then whats the point?

Scheduled MSL reboot
Since Mitel doesn't recommend rebooting an MSL server using Linux cron job or shutdown -r <time> , please provide a way to do a scheduled reboot of an MSL server (MiCollab, MBG etc)

Mitel Performance Analytics.
Would like the ability to filter alerts so that an alert has to be present for a certain amount of time before sending the email.Example, we have the occasional SIP link alarm that only lasts for 5 seconds. But we get sent the alert. We send alerts to Pagerduty to alert on call team members out of hours. We don't want to be called during the night for an issue that cleared after 5 seconds.
So would be nice to have a filter option that we could set to only send an email if an alarm…

Mitel Assistant in MS Teams
When I make a call with the Mitel Assistant from within MS Teams, the floating window of MiCollab appears only after the other party answered the phone. When I want to hang up before I have to switch to MiCollab. Please make the floating window of MiCollab appear immediatly when the call start.

Issue:
Extensions are not licensed on YSE (MiCC) when the customers create a new extensions and they have to manually check each extension on YSE.
FIX
->Can we add a licenses option to be automatically checked when creating a new extension.

In MiCollab
In MiCollab server - Users and Services - on the User tab make it possible to sort the dropdown menus like Department and Location alphabetically. Saves a lot of scrolling when adding users.

SMS for MiVB Subscription
SMS needs to be added to MiVB Subscription model. I am running into customers that MiVB Subscription will be a good fit, but they require SMS. Connect, RingCentral, Nextiva, etc. have this built in.

6900 Phone Volume Increase by config file like 400 series
Customer says volume on ringers and speaker phone is too low for some areas. As of right now there's not a way to set the gain on 6900 series phones like you can on the 400 series. Would like this feature added.

Customer accessible Software Download portal
Would be great if I, as a technical end customer system administrator, could download OVA's and other software packages directly without my Partner having to do it for me. Example: prepping for a system upgrade, if I could download the MiCollab and MiVB OVA's myself, I could deploy the new VM's and have everything ready for my Partner tech to complete the upgrade.
Tie it to my MUG member MiAccess account, and restrict access to the products and software releases I have SWA entitlement to. Let my Partner control my access if you like.

Change the From address from a MSL server like MBG / OIG / Mivb
It is now not possibel the change the from address that is used for sending email in case of error, allarms.
The format is now: root@hostname.fqdn. Can this be set up to for example to hostname@fqdn. The fqdn is than matching the fqdn of the customer and the customer has to to create subdomains for al the different servers.5 votes
