    Die Openscape kann der 400er nicht das Wasser reichen und die Mivoice Business ist zu aufwändig für kleiner Kunden.

  2. Mitel Performance Analytics.
    Would like the ability to filter alerts so that an alert has to be present for a certain amount of time before sending the email.

    Example, we have the occasional SIP link alarm that only lasts for 5 seconds. But we get sent the alert. We send alerts to Pagerduty to alert on call team members out of hours. We don't want to be called during the night for an issue that cleared after 5 seconds.

    So would be nice to have a filter option that we could set to only send an email if an alarm…

  3. Why don't Ring Groups have the ability to share and view group mailbox in the MiCollab client like you can with personal mailboxes? We are migrating from Mitel Connect and this feature is/was heavily used. It creates a a large impact in our environment to not have a better voicemail option for Ring Groups.

    -Ring Groups with many members don't have a way to manage a mailbox between several users.
    -It also does not make sense that they would need to call into voicemail when there is an app that could show the voicemails for their Ring Groups.

  4. Would be great to be able to have folders for all my shortcuts on the MiCollab home screen. Then I could organize them instead of it being a jumbled mess. Groups only works for contacts, and I want to be able to organize speed dials and URLs as well.

  5. At the moment, configurations in Voice Assist (routing) are only triggered by calls.
    There should be an implementation so that functions can be triggered from the Voice Assist routing to the Mitel 400, MiVoBusiness or other systems based on appointments (schedule activity), e.g. change of switching group or the presence of a user, without a call.

  6. Is it possible to configure hard keys to function as call appearances?

    Scenario: a 6867i is configured with 5 lines. But, so many buttons are in use for other purposes that there is only room for L1 and L2 line keys.

    Goal: First call uses L1 button (regardless of which line it came in on), second call uses L2 button, (even if it arrived via line 3 or line 5).

    Current behavior: Line 1 and line 2 use L1 and L2; lines 3-5 do not have a button.

  7. Unfortunately, v10 of the Mitel software has not improved accessibility and in many ways has made it worse. In particular:

    No support for Windows High DPI mode (use of older Java runtimes?)
    Very small fonts that cannot be adjusted – although ZoomText does a good job of scaling these, it works much better if the font is slightly larger to start with
    Lack of contrast – the new “flat” look has removed some of the higher contrast elements, such as highlighted entries in the Phone Book search are now pale blue

  8. MiCollab software client starup functionality:

    “Generate the Registry ‘mac’ entry on each startup launch of the client, even if it has an existing entry”. This would be a simple solution to have it work properly with or without a roaming profile. Currently the MiCollab client launch only generates the mac registry entry if it does not exist. In a roaming profile the entry exists, but is a duplicate of another computer(s), and therefore crashes with a server error.

  9. We need a simpler way to reboot Minet 69xx phones from the MiVB System Administration for troubleshooting purposes or when reassigning a phone to a new user. Currently the only commands that will reboot the phone that we have found are LOAD commands that require the Device ID but the ID changes when the MAC address is assigned to a new user. We found that if the phone mac is taken off a user and assigned to a new user, the phone will not automatically update, and must be rebooted before it will come up with the new user. However…

  11. Complimentary Registration for Partners with MUG sign up

    Not sure which category to list this, so Other it is!

    After the most recent Mitel NEXT event where end users of the users group were invited again (Yay), i noticed that my partner didn't attend.

    I started thinking, if feasable, wouldn't it be a great idea to offer the partner of an attending User Group member 1 comp registration to attend, in case this was the reason they weren't.

    I would have liked my partner to be in attendance, if for no other reason than to discuss possibilities from the vendors…

  12. When I make a call with the Mitel Assistant from within MS Teams, the floating window of MiCollab appears only after the other party answered the phone. When I want to hang up before I have to switch to MiCollab. Please make the floating window of MiCollab appear immediatly when the call start.

  13. At present, you only receive presence updates for a MiVB ‘Generic SIP Device’ when:

    1) a call is made (busy)
    2) a call is received (busy)
    3) when a call is dropped (available)
    4) when the device is signed into the SIP extension (available).

    There is no presence update when the device is signed out. This is confirmed 'design intent' by Mitel. That means in the last presence update is 'Available', the device will remain available via API, even after signing out.

  14. Our Customer has a requirement to send all logs from the MSL servers to a product called SIEM by McAfee. Its a remote syslog server product.

    We've tried to add a remote syslog server using the MSL's GUI but not all of the logs are sent, barely any. If we manually edit the rsyslog file in linux and add . 10.20.20.1 then a lot more logs are sent. The customer says McAfee Technical support says for Linux machines they need . plus their SYSLOG IP. Wird mit einem Telefonapparat eine Kurzwahlnummer z.B. 7105 direkt gewählt zeigt es zwar den Namen der gespeicherten Nummer im Display an, möchte man jedoch in der Wahlwiederholung diesen Namen wieder finden zeigt es nur die Kurzwahlnummer z.B. 7105 an und nicht mehr den Namen. Anscheinend wird auf Anfrage bei Mitel das Problem auch nicht gelöst. In letzter Zeit gibt es viele solche Probleme welche nicht mehr gelöst werden wollen von Mitel. Mitel möchte zwar nach wie vor dass man Mivo 400 System weiterhin verkauft, da ja anscheinend jedoch Mitel nicht gewollt ist Funktionen welche mal funktionert haben wieder zu lösen…

  18. I would like to have the possibility to add click to dial field in cmgweb, for example a misc field . Now only telno and cordless is usable.
    The logic for display number as possible to dial is only implemented for the Telno number field and the cordless number field in the CMG Web application
    In my screenshot you can see "intern mobil" is not clickable.

  19. Mitel SIP-DECT seems to allow up to 64 chars for the LDAP username. Some of our customers have a demand to use up to 80 characters there (because we generate this
    username in our system, depending on other strings like customer instance name).
    Is it feasible to raise this limitation?
