Easier method for remote rebooting Minet 69xx series phones
We need a simpler way to reboot Minet 69xx phones from the MiVB System Administration for troubleshooting purposes or when reassigning a phone to a new user. Currently the only commands that will reboot the phone that we have found are LOAD commands that require the Device ID but the ID changes when the MAC address is assigned to a new user. We found that if the phone mac is taken off a user and assigned to a new user, the phone will not automatically update, and must be rebooted before it will come up with the new user. However the LOAD commands using the device id associated with the new user will not reboot the phone as it retains the original Device ID it had with the previous user until rebooted. This means that the phone must be rebooted manually by a user with access to the phone before the change will take affect. In Mivoice Connect there was a reboot option in the Maintenance section when viewing the phone status that could easily be applied when a reboot was needed and required no action by end users. It would be nice to have Reboot Button in the Ip Phone inventory section like the PING Button that is there currently. This would greatly simplify rebooting phones.
